Global warming is caused by heat trapping gases (greenhouse gases) such as carbon dioxide or methane which causes a rise in the Earth's temperature.

Global warming can cause many problems such as drier lands, and warmer oceans. It causes a major problem for the arctic. Such as the melting of glaciers, this causes a rise in sea level and destroys the habitats of many animals, such as the arctic foxes.
What is the main cause of global warming?

The main cause of global warming is the burning of fossil fuels. This creates most of the heat trapping gases, or greenhouse gases. Vehicles, factories, power plants, etc... They all put out pollution which adds to it.
How can we stop global warming?

We can stop global warming by limiting the burning of fossil fuels by using renewable sources of energy, I have even created a petition for the public to sign and get the attention of certain governments.
